Paulina Korobkiewicz (b. 1993, Suwałki, Poland) is a London-based photographer and visual artist. Her work consists of photography combined with text and moving image. Focusing on everyday objects within public space, she explores themes of home, migration, trauma of post-communist states and politics of identity. Her work has been the subject in exhibitions internationally and has been featured in a variety of publications. She is the winner of Camberwell Book Prize, and was shortlisted for prizes such as Bart Tur Photobook Award, Magnum Graduate Photographers Award and Prix Pictet. She has just completed an 18-month artist residency at Centrala Space in Birmingham. Her two most recent exhibitions at Centrala and Surface, Nottingham were comprised of works she created between Hyson Green and West Bromwich during her residency. She is currently working on a commission from Rosetta Arts to deliver a series of photography workshops for the migrant communities in Newham, London. In addition to developing long-form personal projects, Paulina continues to undertake commercial commissions.
