From Fragments of Home: Eastern European Stories from Newham the exhibition by participants of the Eastern European Photography Club which Paulina was invited to run together with Elena Juzulenaite in 2024. The photography club took place at Beckton Globe, where, over six months, the group met regularly to exchange stories and reflect on shared experiences of identity, migration, personal journeys, and our connections to Newham. Directed by German-Ukrainian filmmaker Miriam and produced by Polish producer Ella Hopkins, the films follow Paulina Korobkiewicz and Elena Juzulenaite on their journeys as workshop facilitators. These two short documentaries offer glimpses into the artists’ lives as they move through Newham. Ella, who also participated in the sessions, takes viewers from Peckham, where Paulina is based, to Beckton, where she led the workshops.
